Power Bars might seem unremarkable to most people, but when you consider that they make it possible to run and recharge all the devices you use constantly, and that many of them also offer the insurance of surge protection for your valuable electronics, they’re worth a second thought.

Best Power bars

Not all power bars are created equal, nor are the situations or rooms where we need them. So I’ve sourced some of the best, coolest, chicest and most versatile power bars for nearly every situation. If you find this video helpful, please give it the thumbs up for me.

Surge protection can be a big issue, especially if you live in an area prone to voltage spikes or blackouts. The AmazonBasics 8 outlet power bar features a 15 amp re-settable circuit breaker that will stop electrical surges from reaching your devices. It features a 12-foot long cord and has three outlets widely spaced for larger plugs.

Best Luxe power bar for rich kids: Austere VII Series

If standard power bars are too dull for you, consider the Cadillac of the power bar world. The Austere VII Series features six or eight AC outlets, two USB A, and three USB-C outlets, one of which is a 45W USB-C PD port for your laptop. Austere offers a lifetime warranty on this series, which will run you $279.99 or $319.99

It can be screwed into the wall socket and provides ample space for devices with larger plugs.
